
How can a Dehumidifier help me?
The major problem in indoor pools is an excess of humidity and condensation from evaporation of the pool surface. This leads to an unpleasant environment for swimmers and expensive damage to the building and it's contents.
Dehumidifiers remove excess moisture from the air, thus allowing a swimmers body to feel comfortable when entering or leaving the water. Humidity control also prevents high vapour pressure from penetrating walls and ceilings to the detriment of both decoration and structure. Since humidity is latent energy available for recycling, energy savings are huge. Recovery of this energy to air and to water can lead to systems paying for themselves in less than 2 years, and thereafter maintaining low pool running costs.
How does it work?

Indoor Pools:
The Heat Pump Dehumidifier recirculates the pool hall air, removing excess moisture an reclaiming its stored heat. This heat is added to the driving energy of the machine so that ALL the energy can be channeled back into warming the pool water and air. On relevant models an amount of fresh air is automatically added to maintain air quality.
Outdoor Pools:
Heat Pumps for outdoor pools extract free energy from outside air over a variety of temperatures from -15°C to +40°C. This energy is harnessed by the heat pump for water heating units incorporating suitable heat exchangers. Since only a small amount of electrical energy is required, heating output can be up to 5 times electrical input - 500% efficiency. No boiler or heater can exceed 100%.
